Our client is a rapidly scaling global wellness technology brand with a strong presence across Australia, the US and the UK. Recognised for its premium products, innovation-led approach and exceptional customer experience, the business continues to experience significant international growth and is now seeking an outstanding Brand & Communications Director to join its Sydney-based leadership team.
  
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will lead the global Brand & Communications function and be responsible for shaping brand perception across all external touchpoints. Covering brand strategy, communications, PR, creative, content, social media, community engagement and partnerships, you will ensure the brand remains culturally relevant, commercially effective and consistently executed across international markets.
  
We are seeking a proven Brand & Communications leader who has already operated successfully in a comparable role within a high-growth consumer brand environment. The successful candidate will bring a demonstrated history of leading multidisciplinary teams, building brand equity, delivering measurable commercial outcomes and executing sophisticated brand and communications strategies across multiple markets.
  
Key responsibilities include:
  • Owning the global brand strategy, positioning, voice and identity
  • Leading the brand and communications function across creative, content, PR, social media, community and partnerships
  • Driving integrated global campaigns across key international markets
  • Leading agency partners and internal teams to deliver world-class brand execution
  • Building and maintaining strong media, industry and stakeholder relationships
  • Providing strategic leadership across major launches, partnerships, sponsorships and brand initiatives
  • Ensuring all brand activity contributes to commercial performance, customer acquisition and long-term brand equity
  • Acting as a trusted brand advisor to the Chief Marketing Officer and executive leadership team.
The successful candidate will have:
  • 8+ years' experience in brand, communications, creative or marketing leadership roles, including significant experience operating at Director level
  • A proven track record of delivering measurable brand growth, commercial outcomes and market impact
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams spanning brand, creative, content, PR and communications
  • Demonstrated success building and managing brands across multiple international markets
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect brand investment to business performance
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and leadership capabilities
  • Experience within premium consumer, wellness, health, fitness, lifestyle, DTC or consumer technology brands will be highly regarded.
This role requires someone who can make an immediate impact. Applicants must be able to clearly demonstrate significant achievements, leadership capability and commercial results from previous Brand & Communications leadership positions. We are not seeking potential for future growth into the role; we are seeking proven success at this level.
