This is a flexible, on-demand arrangement where we’ll lean on you when workloads spike and your availability allows. You’ll work closely with their internal team to deliver clear, accurate, and on-brand communications across a mix of technical and customer-facing content.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, editing, proofing, sense-checking, and simplifying complex technical documentation and communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, structure, and flow
- Translating technical or specialist subject matter into clear, plain-English content fit for its intended audience
- Crafting and refining direct communications, including emails, letters, newsletters, and LinkedIn posts, for customers, partner advisers, and licensees
- Adapting tone and voice to suit different messaging requirements while remaining aligned to brand guidelines
- Developing clear, polished, on-brand product copy and campaign concepts for industry publications and the website
- Collaborating with the in-house Copywriter and broader team to meet deadlines and maintain content quality during busy periods.
- Proven experience as a Copywriter, Editor, or Content Specialist with strong technical writing capability
- Confidence working with complex or technical subject matter
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience in financial services or insurance is an advantage, but not essential
