Our client is a fast-growing global wellness brand known for delivering premium, science-backed products to customers worldwide. With continued international expansion and a strong focus on innovation and customer experience, they are seeking a Trading/Operations Manager to join their Sydney CBD team in a hybrid working environment.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, this role will oversee demand forecasting, inventory visibility and ecommerce trading operations across global markets. Acting as the key link between Marketing and Operations, you’ll drive commercial performance across DTC, B2B, affiliate and PR channels while ensuring stock, promotions and trading strategies align with business objectives.
  
Key responsibilities include:
  • Owning and maintaining the master demand forecast across DTC, B2B, affiliate and PR channels
  • Monitoring stock levels, inbound shipments and sell-through pacing across warehouses and regions
  • Identifying stock risks, oversell issues and inventory opportunities to support marketing activity
  • Managing Shopify promotional setup, including discount codes, sale pricing, bundles and product launches
  • Tracking daily trade performance, including revenue, units, AOV and conversion rates
  • Running trade reporting and performance analysis across promotional periods and major sale events
  • Maintaining pricing, discount structures and stock configuration across global markets
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing and B2B teams to support commercial outcomes
  • Presenting forecasting, trade and stock insights to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
The successful candidate will have:
  • 5+ years’ experience in ecommerce trading, forecasting, merchandise planning or a similar commercial role
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Hands-on Shopify experience, including promotions, pricing and stock management
  • Experience working closely with Operations or Supply Chain teams
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and reporting workflows
  • A commercially minded and proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  • Experience within e-commerce, wellness, beauty, lifestyle or premium consumer brands will be highly regarded
  • Exposure to platforms such as Asana, Klaviyo, Looker or Tableau is advantageous.
